The Centre Tuesday approved the procurement of moong and urad in Madhya Pradesh and urad in Uttar Pradesh under the Price Support Scheme, which buys commodities at the minimum support prices. The decision was made at a meeting chaired by Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to review procurement logistics with state agriculture ministers.
