Domestic airlines flew 14.06 million passengers in May, up 1.9% on year, according to data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Tuesday. This growth is much lower than the 8.5% on-year growth registered in April and 8.8% growth registered in March. Ratings agency ICRA had anticipated a growth of 4.1% on year for May.
